The Health Management Center of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University was founded in 2004 as a health consultation and physical examination center. In 2019, the Health Management Center was established through the integration of the Physical Examination Department at Zhongshan Hospital headquarters and its Sheshan Branch.

Relying on Zhongshan Hospital's strong medical strength, world-class equipment and leading advantages in the field of health management, the Center has established an all-round and whole-process health management system of health risk assessment, disease early warning, early screening, early diagnosis, early treatment and intervention follow-up, providing professional, efficient and high-quality health management services throughout the life cycle.

The Center has a health management team composed of professionals in nursing, nutrition, rehabilitation, psychology, traditional Chinese medicine, and health assistants, with top-ranking general practitioners in China as the core and full-time health management doctors forming the main body. At the same time, the Center gathers the top multi-disciplinary experts of Zhongshan Hospital to continuously improve and innovate the service quality of whole life cycle health management through cooperation with academician teams, industry leaders, and "Great Country Craftsman".

Discipline Construction

The Health Management Center includes the Physical Examination Department of Zhongshan Hospital headquarters and Sheshan Branch, integrating prevention, screening, disease prediction, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. It is one of the largest professional health management centers in Shanghai and even in China.

The Health Management Center has always adhered to the goal of constructing "the first-class intelligent health management center in the world", promoting the discipline construction through coordination of medical science, teaching, research and management, co-cultivating health management professionals with the college, and carrying out scientific research from the aspects of health management crowd cohort, basic-clinic translational research, medical artificial intelligence, medical engineering combination and digital medicine based on the hospital scientific research platform and multi-disciplinary cooperation, and has built a series of health science popularization activities such as "Zhongshan Health Studio" led by academicians, to forge ahead on the development path of health management discipline and explore the "Road of Zhongshan".

Since 2019, the Center has published 40 academic papers, including 25 SCI papers; 3 monograph (Associate Editor). It has applied for 25 patents and 3 software copyright, with 5 utility model patents and 3 software copyright granted.
